1. 能愿动词“应该、该、得”；“必须”
“得（děi）、必须”的否定式用“不用”；“应该”的否定式为“不应该”。

Tài wǎn le, wǒ děi zǒu le.
It’s late — I have to go.

2. 假设复句“如果……，就……”“……的话”
如果……（的话），……就……
假设复句：“如果……，就……”“……的话，就……”；“就”在后一分句主语之后。
如果下雨，我们就不去了。
Rúguǒ xià yǔ, wǒmen jiù bú qù le.
If it rains, we won’t go.
你忙的话，就别来了。
Nǐ máng dehuà, jiù bié lái le.
If you’re busy, don’t come.
3. “该……了”
“该……了”表示按情理或时间应该做某事。
十一点了，该睡觉了。
Shíyī diǎn le, gāi shuìjiào le.
It’s eleven — time for bed.
4. 描述外貌
主谓谓语句描述外貌；“身高 + 数量”。
她头发很长，眼睛很大。
Tā tóufa hěn cháng, yǎnjing hěn dà.
She has long hair and big eyes.
他身高一米八。
Tā shēngāo yì mǐ bā.
He is 1.80 m tall.
